This picture shows 3 of the 6 plots around which I rotate the garlic crop. The back plots are planted with green manures. The one in the forefront is planted with garlic (this picture was taken in the fall, soon after planting). The clean, neat lines of this way of planting are really quite beautiful, no? Makes it much easier to take care of (weed, water, harvest) on a small commercial scale, but it is definitely labor intensive!
