Rainwater tank input and overflow connectors. The white hose comes off the roof and into a screen before entering the tank. The black hose takes water at the overflow level and routes it to a nearby pond. We can also drain the tank through a spigot at the bottom.
Hard to tell because the photo was taken in low-light conditions. The overflow from the 1st 275-gallon tank goes around the side of the building, beneath a large bay shrub, and into a hand-dug pond. If you look closely, you can see water coming out the pipe into the leaves. Overflow from this pond irrigates several large shrubs and trees. It is a real haven for wildlife.
Pond filled with captured rainwater. Needs some maintenance. The duck decoy was found alongside the road. It seemed appropriate to put him here. All the trees surrounding this pond have grown up and over the pond and drop a lot of leaves in the fall. They make a nutrient-rich mulch and overflow irrigation water.

The overflow from the 275-gallon tank flows into this sunken kiddie pool / frog pond. Bees also like to get water here. I keep rocks and wood in it so they don't drown.
